Antique Solid Silver Double Albert Watch or Neck Chain & Fob 22 inch Long Bir 1895

This one is a very antique sterling silver double Albert pocket watch chain with graduated curb links, a t-bar fob and working dog catch. Each link of the chain is hallmarked with the lion passant sterling silver mark. The bulls eye link is hallmarked Birmingham 1918. The t-bar is hallmarked for sterling silver Birmingham 1895 maker’s mark WWC. Both dog catches work well, and close tightly shut. Onehe dog catch is hallmarked for sterling silver Birmingham 1895 maker’s mark WWC. The other dog catch is hallmarked for Birmingham 1918 maker’s mark HP. The middle link of one chain has the maker’s mark WWC. The double sided sterling silver fob has two raised empty cartouches. To the reverse of the fob is a hallmarked for sterling silver Birmingham 1913 maker’s mark HB&S. This watch chain is long enough to be worn as a necklace.

Weighs in at 91.2 grams approx.  

Measurements: 22 & ¼ inch long approx. Plus the extra 2 inches of chain links attached to the fob.

Condition: In excellent condition. This chain has been made from two watch chains. However they are a very good match. Please see photos
